Show Dad How Much You Care

Don’t forget Dad on June 19th!  Make your Father’s Day shopping a mini vacation this year by shopping at Better Than Jam on Governors Island!  You’ll find lots of great handmade gifts that you won’t find at the mall.

First of all, contrary to recent popular belief, it is still totally cool to buy your Dad a tie for Father’s Day.  But only if it’s a totally cool tie, preferably handmade and made by jesswitaj.

If your Dad’s a proud New Yorker, he needs this shirt by Pigeon Be Pigeon.  If you’re a New Yorker and your Dad lives elsewhere, he also needs this shirt.  That way he can point to it and say with pride, “My kid lives here!”

Maybe your Dad needs some artwork for his man cave or his office.  Or the kitchen, if that’s his domain.  He needs this photo block from Kerri Brewer.   It can sit on his desk or counter or hang on the wall.

Maybe your Dad (or husband) is the guy who’s always quick with a great joke and keeps you laughing.  Turn the tables this year with ApertureAgog‘s hilarious hand-screened handkerchiefs.

For the art-loving father with style, Take Me Homeware‘s Surrealist Cyclist tumbler is the perfect choice.  It can also double as a very stylish pencil cup.

Maybe the man in your life is exploding with great ideas!  Then he  needs this Moleskine cahier notebook with a bold and gold grenade hand printed on the cover from LaudanumPrinting.

Oh, and don’t forget the card!  This one from My Zoetrope is just the thing.
